Welcome to Somerset Candles - The home of beautiful handmade scented candles.

My daughter and I came across candle-making while exploring various DIY projects at home. Intrigued by the idea of creating our own candles, we decided to give it a try, and it was a great success.

My husband then joined us in researching different candle-making techniques and ingredients, and soon enough, we were experimenting in our kitchen, melting coconut wax and blending fragrances. We found this fun and rewarding, filled with laughter and creativity.

When we realised that we had created a sellable product which others would enjoy; Somerset Candles was formed.

A long period of test burning followed to ensure our products meet our exacting standards.

Our candles are hand-poured in small batches and crafted with care, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail. We believe that every candle should be a work of art.

At Somerset Candles, we are committed to sustainability and the well-being of our planet. All our candles are handcrafted using 100% natural coconut wax, which is not only vegan and cruelty-free but also eco-friendly. Our wooden wicks are completely non-toxic, organic, eco-friendly and sustainable. They crackle just like the crackle of wood on a fire or in a wood burning stove.

We offer occasion/gift candles as well as candles for everyday use in the home. From the rich and woody notes of Evergreen to the delicate blend of Lavender and Chamomile. There is even a free option to personalise your candle.
